Jay News

Jay is getting so big and turning into such a funny little fellow. We ordered pizza tonight and he was so excited and said "Good-bye pizza man" as our delivery person left. Yes, this means Jay is eating pizza - his palette is slowly expanding, I had to take a video to prove it to Scott. Jay is also sleeping in his big bed all night without PASSIE!!!! woo hoo! Have a great weekend everyone!

Too tired...

So a few weeks ago we were going through our regular morning routine when Andrew all of the sudden fell asleep eating his oatmeal and applesauce. It was so funny I just had to take a picture. Hilarious!

Blah, blah, blah...

Here's our growing Andrew talking in his own litte way. We can't believe how fast he is developing - where does the time go??? He is already scooting across the floor and spinning around in circles on his tummy, he'll be crawling in no time.

Fat Tire comes to Georgia

Scott loves Fat Tire, a beer brewed by New Belgium Brewing Co. in Fort Collins, CO. It's a fave of many beer aficionados. Until a few years ago, it was only distributed west of the Mississippi River, but then they crossed over into TN and now, Georgia! Scott was so excited and it makes his day to have a small taste of CO in the fridge.

Andrew Eats!

Andrew LOVES to eat! He hasn't turned down any baby food yet.

Progress

Scott has been so disciplined this week and has worked on the playset every night. Jay loves the playset and loves "helping" his Dad. See the progress...

The Playset - Some assembly required...

A couple of weeks ago we decided to buy a playset for the boys. We searched around and decided on one from Toys R Us that was marked down to an unbelievable price. Scott started putting it together today and we'll be lucky if it's finished in a week (that's his lofty goal) - I'm giving it 2 weeks, possibly longer. To those of you who are thinking about such a purchase - it's worth paying for someone else to assemble!!! Check the blog to track our progress :)

Unloading the boxes with all the unmarked wood pieces and dozens of bags with nuts, bolts, screws, etc. Our minds start to spin...

Scott starts the assembly process... all is well - sort of...
Pure frustration - it's now the playset from hell and we are beginning to wonder what we have gotten ourselves into. We have a long way to go folks...stay tuned.

Happy Mother's Day to Me!

This was my Mother's Day present this year... a mac-daddy double stroller! It rocks! The boys and I will have so much fun strolling around Atlanta and near-by parks. Thank you Scott!!!

Beach Get-Away!

As promised... more pics from our beach trip! Here we attempted to get a picture with all the kids - it just wasn't in the cards so the mommies had to jump in.

Last weekend we traveled to Murrell's Inlet, SC for a quick beach get away with our friends the Greggs and Newells. Jay had a great time with his old friend Walt and it was so much fun seeing all our little kids play together. It was hectic with 5 kids under age 3, but it was a great time had by all!!! Here are some pics I've posted of our porch fun and beach time with the kids. I plan to post a few more when I snag some more time later today or this weekend. And a HUGE thank you to Paige and Boyd!!! We miss you guys!!!!

The butterfly game on the porch...

Sweet Emmie lookin' after Andrew - it was so interesting to watch the little boys run, laugh, and play while the little girls gravitated towards the baby!

Beach fun!!! The boys wore themselves out!
Walt and Jay taking a much needed afternoon nap... so cute!

The snake game! Walt and Jay took turns chasing each other with this toy snake all weekend. Here Walt is making the snake pre-tend bite Jay's fingers - this provided endless entertainment and many laughs. O-what little boys they truly are!
